My Story

My life changed on June 5, 2022 in Morocco when we were told that our little daughter Amira,

who was only 18-months old had Leukemia. Since that day, my whole life stopped—and I knew

I had a greater purpose in my life which was to fight for my daughter. I brought her back to the

United States, which gave us hope. We went through a lot together with the support of the

family—and of course her two sisters Yasmine and Assia…who suffered seeing their little sister

sick. Despite all odds, she is so strong and courageous. I can say that she is a true warrior. I am

so proud of her. While there is still a long way to go, I know that we will get there when we

arrive.
